Community Guidelines
The Patons blog is intended to give consumers of Patons® yarn information on other knitters’ and crocheters’ experiences with Patons® yarns and patterns. It’s an opportunity to interact with other yarn-lovers and find inspiration. This should be an open and friendly place to spend time and learn new things. Please consider this when posting your blogs and comments and be sure that they adhere to these Community Guidelines. These Community Guidelines, in addition to our current Terms of Use and Privacy Policy, constitute the understanding between you and us as to your use of the Patons blog. The Terms of Use and Privacy Policy apply to the entire use of patonsyarns.com, including the Patons blog. Patons, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to review, edit and/or remove any blogs or comments that do not adhere to these Community Guidelines and/or the Terms of Use.
-Please keep discussion focused on the topic of the post.
-Be respectful. Provide your honest views, and, above all, remain friendly and respectful in your conversations on the blog. Everyone should feel welcome to post and chime in. Respect the privacy of other users.
-We encourage you to identify yourself. We respect your privacy but find that anonymity detracts from a community of openness and honesty. Please do not use someone else’s identity. We request that you provide your name when you post blogs and comments.
-You may not use this blog as a sales platform. Using this blog or making comments for commercial purposes, including advertising, promotions, junk mail, or spamming, is not permitted.
-Please make no mention of and provide no links to competitors’ yarns and/or patterns, and ensure that you post original content only.
